On Monday evening we went out to search a shisha bar. There were many, but it got late until we left our basement. To late for some…
The others found something to smoke (@Jogi: We got a flavour recommended: Grape+Mint ;))
The next day was match day! But before we visite Oxford Street and Picadelly Circus
Christmas time (and propably one of the best toy stores with crazy employees)
Looking for Lp’s
Before the match we started (like every day) in our basement. Because of the “fun”eral we didn’t even had a chair this time
Then we went in an English pub:
And then to WEMBLEY!
It was not allowed to drink the beer on the seats :( Andreas and I missed the first 10 minutes of the second half… But the game wasn’t that exciting at all. But there was a nice instrument playing all the time in the English block.
Red and White
And at the end: A bear beer! In contrast to Ireland it’s allowed in England to drink in public…
After some pictures of our nights out, I have to admit that this wasn’t the start of our trips: We always started in the basement (or what it was called “living room”) and had some pre-drinks. On the second day we even found out that there was an ice machine. But for that we had to cross the very serious looking backyard.
But our small cider bottles made us brave. Sadly they were empty too fast.
On the 3rd day we did a free walking tour. It was very interesting and we were the only members.
Changing of the guards (sounded a bit like on carnivall)
Serious, a sundial? In England? Are you kidding me?
After that we learned something about history and visited the musem of London.
In the evening we went to the parliament and visited a debate.
Monday night and match day still to come!
Last week we (Andreas, Benjamin, Georg, Luke and me) visited London. Main-reason was the football match England:Germany. But we decided to go there on saturday and do some sightseeing.
At the beginning we were quiet lost…
But then we found our Hostel. The area looked like London Kreuzköln.
We even found a french spy!
We spend our fist night at The World’s End
An my cellphone is still water (or better: beer)-proof:
On the next ay we did some sightseeing and went along the river to London tower. It was also memorial day (as we found out)
Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few
Along the way we found a Christmast market
With real christmas stuff…
…and some stuff which is more german than christmas style…
and even cheese fries?!
"London Beach" (or as the french say: Bitch)
The Voldemord bridge (he crashed in there in one Harry Potter movie)
Ice rank in front of the London tower
The rest was made to lasagne
Of course we used the Underground
There is a i missing, I guess!
My name is Street…. Bond Street!
The second night out was on a sunday, so it was not that exciting. But we met a ew friend: Nachos from Argentinia
More to come!
